  • We invented The Sociable Kitchen®

You've probably heard of The Sociable Kitchen®, but did you know that we invented it in 1998? The philosophy behind it is simple: A space where the kitchen is the living heart of the home. This is where we gather for cooking, a good laugh and deep conversations. It's a place for everyday duties, for coffee breaks, for settling down with a book, for playing a game, for singing along with the radio as we cook. It's a place to laugh and cry and dance and live. This is where everyday life becomes surprising and the weekend magical. It is the space where everyone wants to hang out and just be.

  • Sustainable kitchen designs — for all of us.

We're committed to using as many recycled materials in our products as possible — that's why we use recycled PET plastic on our fronts. We also use recycled MDF and our chipboard comes from sources that recycle. All our virgin wood is from certified sustainable forestry. We care a great deal about creating products that can be recycled when they reach the end of their usefulness. Additionally, we think sustainability is for everyone, that's why every one of our kitchens features timeless designs made with recycled materials. Buying a new kitchen is a good choice, especially if you choose one that lasts and that can be recycled when it comes time to replace it.
