A Sociable Table for your Sociable Kitchen®
The Sociable Table® was designed for us by Hans Thyge & Co. It's created to pair perfectly with our dining chairs and any of our kitchens. As Søren Stellfeld, the designer says, tables are quite simple - they just consist of four legs and a table top. But he put a lot of care and thought into the legs of this table as he was designing it. They are easy to attach, but the way they are joined showcases the craftsmanship that only Danish design can offer.
Colours that match your kitchen
Are you going for a light, bright kitchen? Choose your Sociable Table in light oak with your choice of white, arizona beige, clay or london grey on the surface.
If you're going for a darker, dramatic look in your kitchen, choose dark oak with black, arizona beige, clay or london grey on the table's surface.
The tables come in two sizes — 150cm x 90cm or 200cm x 90cm, which includes the possibility of purchasing extra leaves that expand the length to 300cm.
We've chosen these colours and sizes to perfectly complement our kitchens, helping you complete your Danish design look down to the last detail.
Meet the designer
Hans Thyge & Co is one of the premiere furniture design firms in Denmark today. They were the perfect partner for us, as we developed our new line of Kvik Living furniture. Their respect for the Danish design tradition, their knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, as well as their focus on circularity were exactly what we were looking for.
As Hans says, "When you do a collection, it has to have a kind of handwriting from us. So when we have done the first piece, it always gets more intriguing when you do the second and third one. It's a whole play of wanting to make things different, but having the same DNA."
